Online Class Descriptions
Cardio/ Bodyweight Circuit: Alternate between movements that get your heart rate up and movements that strengthen your muscles. In this whole body workout, we will repeat this circuit at least four times, shortening both the work intervals and the rest intervals, as we go. This class is designed to leave you feeling energized and accomplished for the rest of the day. Prepare to move! HIIT & Functional Core: This full body workout begins with #1) The Matrix, a series of functional movements that move you from floor to standing at your own pace, then we move into #2) two rounds of a mini-circuit meant to strengthen and get your heart rate up for 1.5-3mins, then we move to the floor for #3) two rounds of a functional core circuit of two moves (typically variations of planks and sit-ups). We repeat this pattern twice more to leave you feeling strong and resilient. This is Bad Dog Rebel’s most ass-kicking fitness class. Prepare to move and sweat!
Power Yoga: Bad Dog Rebel Power Yoga is based on Baptiste Power Yoga which is a strictly asana (physical poses) practice. Our classes are strengthening and lengthening power vinyasa flows that will raise your heart rate and connect your mind and body through your breath. Tabata: Every Tabata is eight rounds of 20 seconds all-out work + 10 seconds of recovery repeated. We do five tabatas in this class. That's five, 4-minute, intense intervals with roughly 1 minute of rest in between each tabata! We finish with some stretching. Tabata is a high intensity interval training workout that allows you to get a fantastic, sweaty workout in a very short amount of time. Prepare to work! [In the “weighted” tabata class, options for using weights for each move will be given but weights will not be absolutely essential to participate. In the “bodyweight” tabata class, weights will not be used at all.]

Principles of Intuitive Eating 5-week Course: Intuitive Eating is a long term strategy and health intervention that can help people recover from difficult, damaged or disordered thinking around food and nourishment. It is a method for learning to leave behind obsessive food thoughts, urges to binge, and practices of restriction. Intuitive Eating is NOT a weight loss program. Led by certified Health Coach and Intuitive Eating Professional, JodiAnn Stevenson, this course, will cover the 10 principles of intuitive eating and ways in which you can implement them in your everyday life. If you want to get free from yo-yo dieting, weight cycling, the restriction-binging cycle and obsessive thinking around food and its relationship to your body, THIS is a great place to get started or continue on that journey. Class is offered on Thursdays 7pm-8:30pm starting March 31st for 5 consecutive weeks, via zoom.
Full Moon Power, a Monthly Ritual of Meditation & Yoga: A special event taking place each month on (or around) the full moon consisting of a high energy yoga practice taught by JodiAnn Stevenson and opening and closing full moon meditations taught by a special guest instructor. Starting Sunday, March 28th at 1pm.
The 108: A special event taking place every three months on the occasion of the equinoxes and solstices. We gather to celebrate the changing of the seasons, check in with our bodies/ mind/ breath and challenge ourselves to move through 108 sun salutations. Let go of the last three months and ready yourself for the next with this traditional, cleansing, yogic ritual. The next 108 will take place on the Vernal Equinox, March 20th at 10am.
